The Pride Initiative is the nonprofit arm of Pride Health Clinic, created to ensure that financial barriers never stand in the way of someone receiving affirming, compassionate healthcare.
We believe everyone deserves access to the care they need to live as their authentic self. Through the generosity of our community, we help provide life-changing medical care, gender-affirming services, and basic necessities to individuals who may otherwise go without.

Our Mission
To improve the health, well-being, and quality of life of LGBTQIA+ individuals and other underserved members of our community by providing financial assistance, access to healthcare, education, and supportive resources.

We help eligible individuals access gender-affirming healthcare by assisting with:
Office visits
Required lab work
Medication assistance
Gender-affirming referrals
Laser Hair Removal & Tattoo Removal
Laser Hair Removal & Tattoo Removal
Many transgender individuals require laser hair removal as part of their transition, while others seek tattoo removal to eliminate unwanted, traumatic, or hateful tattoos.
The Pride Initiative helps fund:
Gender-affirming laser hair removal
Removal of gang, hate, or racist tattoos
Removal of tattoos associated with trauma or human trafficking
Scar revision and self-harm scar treatments for eligible individuals
Community Pantry & Closet
Community Pantry & Closet
No one should have to choose between food and healthcare.
Our community pantry and closet provide essentials including:
Non-perishable food
Hygiene products
Clothing
Gender-affirming items
Seasonal necessities
Household essentials
These resources are available to community members experiencing financial hardship.
