Amy graduated in 2017 from University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and has since obtained her licenses as a Clinical Social Worker and Mental Health Practitioner. Prior to this while serving 12-years in the Air Force, Amy worked as a Medic, providing care in both inpatient and outpatient capacities in Emergency Rooms, on Labor and Delivery, and in both Woman’s Health and Primary Care Clinics. As a Social Worker, Amy’s clinical experience includes providing individual mental health therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention and management, and intensive case management services. Specialized or underserved populations she has experience working with include the LGBTQIA2S+, non-conventional sexual or lifestyle practicing communities, individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use, intimate partner violence, sexual assault or human trafficking needs, incarcerated and criminal justice system-involved individuals, military Veterans and their families, and individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
